The 5 Deadly Mistakes To Avoid With Cosmetics

If you look older or tired when you apply your cosmetics you may be making one of these deadly mistakes. If instead of covering all your blemishes, your makeup job you makes do you look worse than you really are, then you are probably not applying them correctly. If your cosmetics are not applied correctly you can look even more exhausted than you surely are!
Bring out the best in your looks by applying makeup correctly and team it up with  some gorgeous fashion accessories  and a great  designer handbag
When applied right, cosmetics can benefit your entire demeanor – changing you from looking drained and washed out to looking refreshed and radiant. Fortuitously it is simple to avoid the 5 deadly mistakes which make you look worn-out. Just follow the following tips:

1. Don’t Use Too Much Powder
An overly powdered complexion emphasises dull and tired skin. It is better to avoid a matte foundation and powder combo and use instead an illuminating liquid foundation or a tinted moisturiser which highlights your skin instead of camouflaging it and looking dull.

2. Don’t Use Colors Which Are The Wrong Tone for Your Skin
If you use too much light colored beige make-up on your face, it may be too neutral, lack luster and look a little bit flat. Try adding some definition and pop with a darker toned lippie or rosy hued blush to lift your face and add some colour. Likewise do not use make-up which is too bronze for a pale skin.

3. Don’t Use The Wrong Concealer
If you use too much concealer or the wrong shade, instead of concealing you may actually highlight the blemishes you’re trying to cover.  Instead use a creamy formula no more than one shade lighter than your natural skin tone. And always try out your shade in natural light as artificial light can disguise the true match. Green toned make-up is ideal for concealing red blemishes and the redness of rosacea.

4. Don’t use Too Much Dark Eye Liner
Dark smoky eye liner may be a model look, but it can come across as harsh and unflattering. Try skipping the black and grey shades in favour of navy or even dark brown, as they help lift your eyes and add definition without darkness.

5. And Don’t Forget To Curl Your Eye Lashes

Curling your lashes is one of the best ways to open up your whole eye area and help you look awake and alert. Try curling your lashes and even use a heated eyelash curler.

If your makeup is applied correctly you look great.  If your skin has a natural radiance about it and you look revitalized and eye-catching. Apply cosmetics incorrectly and you will look drained and washed out.
